perfidious: The young IM Warmerdam strikes from the bottom of the table today to take the full point from Anton, who looked the sure winner of this group. As it stands, Anton still leads by one-half point entering the final round in the race for the coveted promotion to next year's Masters.

  Penguincw: And Warmerdam strikes again!

Anton has drawn his game today. The 2 games remaining, all involve the 3 guys who were trailing him by half a point, entering the round.

perfidious: With Eljanov-L'Ami ending in a draw and Abdusattorov also conceding a half-point, to bottom marker Saduakassova, Anton's draw secures his spot in next year's Masters after all, though not without some vicissitudes.
Oct-22-20  SymphonicKnight: I hope these young players can start playing over the board chess again soon, and get their ratings up where they belong.
