Hi! My name is A J Goldsby. (User: LIFE Master AJ)

I have many web pages on Mikhail Tal, (http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera..., http://www.angelfire.com/games4/lif... he has always been one of my favorite players.

Here I will pick my favorite games of Mikhail Tal ... one of the greatest geniuses to ever play the game. (This is just a VERY small sampling, please do not feel that it is complete in ANY way!!!)

***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** *****

March 21st, 2014. I originally made this collection a number of years ago ... maybe when this site first opened. (I did it under another handle, and had to repeat the effort when I got this one.)

Anyway, just this year, we have seen the following games as the POTD:

#1.) Tal vs Lutikov, 1964

#2.) Tal vs Petrosian, 1974

#3.) Tal vs B Dudley, 1964

Without question, Tal is one of my favorite players ... and also one of the greatest tactical players of all time ... his gift was nearly unequaled! Please enjoy!!!

NOTE: If you find a Tal game that you like ... and you think it belongs in this collection ... please bring it to my attention. (THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!!! ... in advance.)
