Fun in the Open Games
Compiled by SJP
--*--

My favourite set of openings, encompassing all which begin 1. e4 e5. It includes such loveliness as the refined Spanish Game, the venerable Italian Game, the romantic King's Gambit, the solid Russian Game and the feisty Scotch Game. There are many miscellaneous openings, such as the Vienna Game, the Philidor and many exciting Gambits.
