<"<Der Große-Rochade-Trick> nutzt diese Wissenslücke aus. Die Situation auf der Brett ist ungefähr so wie im Diagramm links: Schwarz hat gerade einen ungedeckten Bauern auf b2 geschlagen, Weiß ist am Zug. Nun kommt er, unser Trick: <0-0-0+!> Die große Rochade erfolgt mit Schach und erobert so den vorlauten Turm. Der weiße Turm gleitet dabei über das vom Turm angegriffene Feld b1 - er darf das!

Ein paar Präzisierungen: Bei der zu erobernden schwarzen Figur muss es sich zwingend um einen Turm handeln, bei anderen Figuren wäre die große Rochade regelwidrig. Die Rochade muss nicht mit Schach erfolgen, denkbar wäre auch, dass z.B. auf der d-Linie eine ungedeckte Figur rumsteht, wie im Diagramm rechts.
