2010 WYCO U-16
Compiled by gauer
--*--

under construction

Held at Burdur, Turkey from November 27th until December 4th. Rounds: November 27th: 1; 28th: 2, 3; 29th: 4, 5; 30th: 6 (also opening ceremony, followed by a free day); December 2nd: 7, 8; 3rd: 9; 4th: 10 (of 10 total rounds). Time control: 90 minutes/player + 30 seconds/move. Teams were represented by more than 15 countries, with 22 teams paired altogether.

Vidit Santosh Gujrathi (India) and Andrey Stukopin (Russia) were 2 of many players performing well for their team's top boards.

(Team) leader-board after 10 rounds:

Armenia - 1st; India - 2nd; Russia - 3rd.

Interested in other WYCO U-16 series? For instance: http://wyco2014.esolution.hu/archiv... describes (a round 3, finalized version of) a pgn, round by round (I'm fairly sure that <I - involves a lot of pid spell-checking to see if they're already in the database> didn't upload any of these yet, but instead provided a pointer to the pgn source(s) as a link during another upload in an upload note), this time of round 3 - 10 rounds total, and players would play on particular individual boards of their team pairings. At http://wyco2014.chess.hu/round3 , when I click on r3, and then the s5, does that provide the same pgn source contents link as when trying s5, and then r3? Also, is "r3; s5" the same pgn source file as r3; s7" and/or "r4; s5" or others, or is there an all-rounds, 'master' (to the extent of "as many games as possible available") pgn source file of all rounds and all tables combined? One should note that in the 2014 WYCO, they also seem to use the round.table.board notation to describe a "round" field of a pgn header, which might be useful to keep during upload, since it can help to explain or reconstruct team or round pairings, or due colour for individuals/teams, with respect to a round-by-round leaderboard ranking rules.
