Cross Check tactic-- OTB Examples
Compiled by ChessCoachClark
--*--

There is a somewhat rare, but fascinating, move in chess where one player makes check and the other player not only foils that check but makes check against the first player with the same move. This event is called a Cross Check or a Counter Check.

Jes Knudsen vs Bo Christensen, Copenhagen 2004 was recently added at ChessGames.com-- thanks to CG! This game features a Cross Check at the end of the game, namely 94. ... Nb3+.

This is a work in progress. Games are just in chronological order, oldest ones first.
