Apr-23-07		Vollmer: I do not think Karpov or the Caro Kann is boring . In fact , I am having trouble finding a forced win here after 38...c3 39.bxc3-Nxc3 40.Qf4-Nd5 . There is alot of empty squares around the White King and it seems difficult for White to use his Exchange advantage . Perhaps time was an issue .

Jul-29-13		offramp: After 20...Qc6 Karpov says he had "about 5 minutes to reach move 40." He played 18 of those moves fairly well. Then he lost on time.
