Jul-06-15  electrocloud: 56.b4! marvelous climax of an opposite-coloured bishop sonata
Jul-06-15  FairyPromotion: What a cool ending!
Jul-06-15  eyalbd: GM Francisco Vallejo Pons on Twitter:

<"What a beautiful idea by Wang Yue, Bd1 then some b4 will come and after cxb4 then Bb3 blocking the bishop. Brilliant!">

tamar: Chessdom.com has the game ending after 55 Bd1 1-0, which would make it Ding Liren's Immortal Resignation Game.

Neither Komodo nor Stockfish at that move saw the elegant b4 idea and we're stymied how to win.

Jul-07-15  AndrewMD: 58 ....b5 to free the black bishop.
Jul-07-15  gokusano: Not yet old, but can be regarded as the maestro of Chinese Chess. He can grind and tame them young Chinese warriors. First, it was Wei Yi, and now Ding Liren. This is a testament that if you want to upstage the young dragons of China, use the calm, tranquil wushu technique. Guaranteed 100.01 percent.
Jul-07-15  gokusano: 30. Qe4 and the white queen takes center stage.
Jul-07-15  AzingaBonzer: <AndrewMD>

59.axb5 followed by Kc6 and Bd5 (to protect the g-pawn) will force the bishop to sacrifice itself for the pawn, after which White has an easy game.

Jul-08-15  EhsanBalani: Why did Black play 51...Fb4 ignoring the e5-pawn?
