Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-14-07  Karpova: Against Alapin, the well-known theoretician, Rubinstein comes up with something completely new - 3...Bg4 and promptly manages to exchange his WSB against white's one.

In the end, after 39.Qd3 black loses his extra pawn but gets a winning attack despite the reduced material.

Jun-11-13  Karpova: According to page 284 of the 1911 'Wiener Schachzeitung', this 14th round game was not played on Friday 1911.09.08 like all the others but on Sunday 1911.09.10 and after 4 hours fight resumed on Wednesday, 1911.09.13 (page 285).
