Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-15-05  Knight13: White was totally winning this, man. The 23... Qxf3+! really got him. Non-stops checks rules, sometimes.
May-16-06  sneaky pete: 27.Qxh7 .. (Saint Amant) wins. 28.Qxh7 .. is probably still winning. 22.Rc1 .. would have been more convincing. If 22... Qxf2 (to prevent 23.Rc7 ..) white has 23.Qc4 Ke8 24.Qc7 .. or 23... Qh4 24.Qc7+ Ke8 25.d7#. If 22... Rc8 23.Qa5+ b6 24.Rxc8+ Kxc8 25.Qxa7 Qd8 26.f4 exf4 27.e5 .. threatening 28.d7+ Qxd7 29.Qa8+ Kc7+ 30.Bd6+ .. he still gets the rook in the end.
Feb-01-12  Knight13: 21. Rxd4! shatters Black's defense. That'd make a good puzzle.
Feb-04-12  Knight13: <sneaky pete> Even 28. Kg2 is still winning. ;-)
