Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-03-04  Kean: Harrwitz used the 3.Bc4 variation of the KG several times in his match against Anderssen. With the final result 5-5 Herr Anderssen realized he had indeed enough strenght to face the best players of Europe.
Jan-01-05  Knight13: Black controlls most of the Dark and Light squares, while White's bishop is trapped in and doing nothing. Black has a much better position here.
Jan-26-11  OJC: According to Pickard's book on Anderssen, the score is missing the final move with Harrwitz blundering 27. Rc1 Bxe2
Feb-24-15  sneaky pete: Pickard is not to be trusted. After 26... Nc7 Harrwitz touched Rf1 by accident and immediately resigned, seeing he couldn't play that Rook.

"Weiss hatte den Tf1 berührt, musste ihn also ziehen und gab, da dies nicht ohne Verlust eines Officiers geschehen konnte, die Partie sofort auf." Schachzeitung 1848, page 284.

Well, the game was hopeless for him anyway. Let's say that white plays 27.Rhf2, and black can simply play 27....Kd7 with plan to play Rf6, Raf8 etc. White has no way to liberate his position from deadly pins.
