White played 62 Rg6 essentially giving his opponent a “free move”.

Better was 62 Kc4 straight away, preventing Nd4+. After 62..Ng1 63 h4! gxh4 64 Re6+ Kf3 (64..Kf5 65 Rh6! =) 65 Rh6 h3 66 Kd3 Black cannot win.
