Chessical: Typical early Tartakower, the better player playing an inferior but sharp defence outplays White in the middle-game.

Tartakower tried this variation once more, L Loewy Sr vs Tartakower, 1907, but it does not inspire confidence.

<19. Ng5!> Qf5 20. Qxf5 exf5 21. d5 cxd5 22. cxd5 Bd6 23. Ne6! Rc8 24. Nd4, would have been a much more effective way of continuing his K-side attack.

<22. Kf1?> instead: <22. dxe5> Nxe5 23. Nxe5 Bxe5 24. Re1 is somewhat better for White.
