Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-02-08  PolishPentium: Consider the following:
28...Ba5+ 29 K move (any) or 29 c3
29...Qxd1+ 30 Kxd1 or Rxd1 30...Rxa8

Black appears to be in reasonable shape after the smoke clears... The advanced White g-pawn will drop very shortly, for example, and the open character of the board should favour Black's B over White's N. White's pawn advantage will not then be overwhelming, and B should be able to work his way to a draw. Is PP's analysis reasonable, or do you think he's out to lunch?^^

Sep-15-08  Yuri Y: PP What if after 28... Ba5+ 29 Ke3 Then 29...Qxd1 doesn't come with check.
Dec-12-08  YoungEd: Boy, it looks to me as though Black had the worst of it because of his third move! Take a look after move 7; Black is down a pawn and behind in development. Not the kind of position you want against Tartakower!
Jan-02-18  jinkinson: Pretty sure the year is wrong on this one...
Jan-02-18  JimNorCal: Submitted a correction slip. Looks like it's been quickly fixed. Thanks, CG!
