Nov-14-03  ughaibu: Difficult to imagine this one won a brilliancy prize.
Oct-21-06  vraja: Absolute beauty !!!

His moves look so frugal - moving his pieces mostly by one square :) but so powerful and with many motives - how he plays like this is a mystery

Phony Benoni: This game was from round 1. Maroczy didn't have a whole lot of success playing against the Dutch in round 4 either: Maroczy vs Tartakower, 1922

In round 6, though, he got it right--though perhaps we should say that Mieses got it wrong: Maroczy vs Mieses, 1922

IMlday: Had I been Black I doubt I could have resisted 20..d5
Nov-11-09  psmith: <IMlday> It seems that 20...d5 may be the best move in the position!

  Honza Cervenka: 20...d5 21.exd5 e4 22.Bf1 cxd4 23.cxd4 Nxd5 24.Qc1 looks clearly better for white. But 20...b5!? could have been interesting.
