Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-20-07  outplayer: Is there another game between the same players, same colurs, in the same year where white played 21.a4?
May-29-08  sneaky pete: There is no other game with 21.a4 .., but Spielmann recommended a2-a4-a5 with an eventual b5-b6 in his notes, claiming better chances for white. He questionmarks 21.Qd7 ..: "Played to hurriedly. I wanted to win quickly and in the process overlooked the manoeuvre Ne7-c8-b6, which chases away the queen with weighty loss of tempo."

18.Sf3-h4 ..

Nov-16-10  DarthStapler: 39. Nxg8 is bad because...?
Jul-11-11  sneaky pete: White is at this stage far beyond good and bad. 39.Nxg8 Rxg8 40.dxc5 Qxc3 with ... Qxe5 next is similar to the text.

In my quote from Spielmann's notes, 21.Dd3-h7? .. should of course be 21.Dh3-d7? ..
