  wwall: Better may be 28.Bxf6 Rf8 29.Bxd8 Rxf3 30.gxf3 Bxe4 31.Rxe4 Nh6 32.Bf6 Qh3+ 33.Kg1 Qxg3+ 34.Kh1 and a draw by perpetual check.

or 32.Rxd8+ Rxd8 33.c5.

35.a4? is the losing move, allowing 35...Qb3. Perhaps best is 35.Qf3.

36.Rxf6 is bad, allowing 36...Rd1+. But there is not much anything better. If 36.Bxf6, then 36...Qxg3, threatening 37...Qh2 mate. If 36.Ra1, then 36...Qxg3 37.Kf1 Qh4, threatening 38...Qh1 mate.
