Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-19-06  Phony Benoni: An odd occurrence in this game: Black manages to play the move ...f5 three times. That's not easy.
Jun-19-06  CapablancaFan: Good endgame from the Mexican grandmaster(Reminiscent of Capablanca). The passed pawn on the h-file ties down Mieses rook while on the contrary Torre's rook and king are allowed to wreak havoc on the queenside.
Oct-05-07  Aspirador: <Phony Benoni: An odd occurrence in this game: Black manages to play the move ...f5 three times. That's not easy.>Would have been even more remarkable if black would have played 1...f6 and then 2...f5 since then he would have played f6-f5 three times, instead of f7-f5 once and f6-f5 twice.

Maybe he just wanted to play the Dutch and didn't feel something so extraordinary, something so groundbreaking on the horizon.
