Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-25-07  mircea88: This game is thoroughly commented in Romanovsky's "Middlegame planning"-1990.
Apr-04-07  mannetje:
Jun-06-08  Jesspatrick: Romanovsky gives a different move order for the first eight moves of this game. To wit: 1.d4 ♘f6 2.c4 e6 3.♘f3 ♗b4+ 4.♗d2 ♗xd2+ 5.♕xd2 0-0 6.♘c3 d5 7.e3 ♘bd7 8.♗d3 c6

From this point on, the two scores are in agreement.

Romanovsky used this game to introduce what he called "dynamic elements" of middlegame planning.

Jun-06-08  RookFile: I didn't like 22.... c4, and then Bogo for some reason decided to throw a piece out the window.

Calli: <Rookfile> I agree about c4. The setup is a routine win since Black can't get anything moving Q-side before White advances his king side pawns. Of course, in 1921, maybe not all such things were so well known.
Nov-26-16  ChrisWainscott: The Romanovsky book above is Soviet Middlegame Technique, and the game in question begins on page 18.
