Dec-27-04  Everett: Marshall works over Alekhine! This game for some reason is not counted in the head to head stats for the two, which state Alekhine has 8 wins 7 draws and no losses against Marshall

<Chessgames> is this game correct?

tpstar: A Tale of Two Marshalls = Frank James Marshall
Dec-27-04  Everett: Doh!

All the more impressive that some no-name brands Alekhine with a big fat mate. Simul I'm guessing here.

Jun-08-15  TheFocus: From a simultaneous exhibition in Glasgow, Scotland on October 2, 1923 at the Glasgow Chess Club.

Alekhine scored +31=2-2.

See <Glasgow Herald>, October 6, 1923, pg. 4.
