Jan-01-12  Morphischer: Nice game by Alekhine. At first I was wondering why Alekhine didn't play 43.Qxe6. If 43.Qxd3 then 44.Bh6 mate. But then I realized the pawn on h4 is pinned. So if 43.Qxe6, then 43.Qxh4+ 44.Kg2 44.Qh1#(or 44.Qh3 44.Rh1+ wins the queen.)
Jan-01-12  chessicle: <Morphischer> Nice analysis; just to pick nits, the more important pinned pawn is the g3, which allows Black to capture the h4.
