Nov-11-07  Calli: Obviously there was plenty of interest and a big crowd on hand for this match.

Mar-14-08  Knight13: That queen-rook stuff by Alekhine in the end is really nice.

jessicafischerqueen: <paul1959> and others- when you cite Edward Winter, please remember to list the <Chess Note number>, because the weblinks are not persistent or stable over time. The link you give goes directly to the latest page at Winter's site, not to the page with the photograph.

Apr-05-25  tbontb: The final decisive game of the match follows an all too familiar pattern. Alekhine varies once again as Black, this time with 4....Bg4. Bogoljubow plays steadily and maintains an approximately equal position but after 28.gxh5 (better Rc2) Black seizes a small initiative, due largely to the exposed White K. As time control approaches, 41.Qd4 is a losing move in a difficult position.
