GrahamClayton: According to Yakov Damsky in the "Batsford Book of Chess Records", this game was repeated move by move by Vladimir Kozlov and Andrei Makarov at a tournament in Moscow in 1992.
May-19-13  Calli: You can see Alekhine's notebook on this game here: The really odd thing is that he writes in English and uses English Descriptive Notation. His annotations are also in "107 Great Chess Battles", but I think Edward Winter translated the notes from Spanish for that book. Turns out they were originally in English.
May-19-13  JimNorCal: Wow, the Alekhine notebook web page is fascinating. Thanks.
Apr-15-16  Russian Patzer: Remarkably that Alekhine's great rival failed to beat Czerniak with Black in Buenos Aires. M Czerniak vs Capablanca, 1939
