tpstar: Black to Play and Win after 27. g3.

Not 31. Nxf3?? Rxd1+ 32. Rxd1 Qxf3, or 32. Bxd1 Qxf1.

How about this?

27...Rxd2 28. Rxd2 Be3 29. Rd1 Rd8 30. Kb1 Bxd2 31. Qf6 Rd6 32. Qf8 Bh6

tpstar: <27 ... Rxd2> The Bf4 is being hit, so White could reply 28. gxf4 and avoid any Pin problems.

The Skewer 27 ... Be5 is more clear, as 28. Qa5 Bxb2+ 29. Kxb2 Rxd2 (Remove the Guard) wins a piece.

Jun-09-18  ChessHigherCat: I know, I just liked Bh6!! in my variation.

perfidious: The queenless middlegame was a depressing prospect, but neither did White manage to escape his problems with them on the board, due to Adams' activity.
Jun-09-18  ChessHigherCat: I take it all back, 32..Bh6 fails to QxB RxQ RxQ.
