Chessical: <14...Nc4> is an elegant pawn sacrifice to achieve equality. In this variation, <17. Qc1?> is refuted by 17...Nxd4!

<20. Qb3!> Be4 21. Ra1 Bd5 22. Qc2 Rxc3 23. Bxc3 Qa6 24. Bb2 Bc6; seems more accurate but it seems that Black will inevitably win back the pawn.

From here on, Hamdouchi gradually slides into a disadvantage.

Hamdouchi's plan of <38. Ra8-b8> to win the <b> pawn loses, as it overlooking Adam's counterplay with the passed <d> pawn and the gain of a tempo with the sacrifice <42... Rf1+!>.
