Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-02-04  csmath: Very interesting and well played game. Anand while in a comfortable position wonders off with his queen and creates the positional advantage for Karpov. Karpov wastes no time for a pawn attack on castling but after 42. Qe5? Anand misses a draw with ... Qxb2. He plays 42. ... c3? instead and after 43. Qe4 ... Qc4? he is lost. So much for making mistakes against Karpov.
