  plang: 9 d4 is played more than 9 d3. 12 Nbd2 allows the maneuver 12..Ng4 and 14..Nh6 which gives Anand a nice kingside initiative. 16 Bg5 chases Anand's Q onto the diagonal it was headed towards anyway. Anand recommended 23 Bd5 as Polgar's continuation cost a pawn and further weakened the kingside. 30 b4 would have prevented 30..b4 and kept white with a playable game. 35 Nf6 was final error accelarating Anand's attack.
