  Honza Cervenka: To play Bg5 after own castling Kingside but without castling Kingside of the opponent is always somewhat risky and can get white quickly under dangerous attack. Anderssen had no troubles with conducting it here.

It is also interesting that even modern players can run into this mess with the same sad result as Loewenthal more than one and half of century ago. See P Jaracz vs L Cyborowski, 2001 and Guseinov vs Aronian, 2004

  louispaulsen88888888: White seemed ok out of the opening,but h3 was an unnecessary weakening of the king position. ...g4 also had to be stopped with f3, then maybe he could survive. Nice energetic game by Andersson
