19.Re5!!

Spectacular move! It becomes obvious five moves later why this move is so strong.

Feb-16-12  brankat: <Fusilli> I believe this is one of the games I had provided links to a few days ago :-)

I'm glad You like the game!

Feb-16-12  Agent Bouncy: Ulf Andersson in the Yugoslavia championship?
Feb-17-12  King Death: < Agent Bouncy: Ulf Andersson in the Yugoslavia championship?>

There used to be an event held at Sombor. This reminds me of some games I've seen posted here with the site as New Orleans that were supposed to be part of a world championship when the players didn't quite make that level.

Feb-17-12  King Death: Leave it to Planinc to put some life into a line that's supposed to be maybe a little better for White but very drawish. He had a knack for playing some interesting chess.
Feb-17-12  brankat: <Agent Bouncy> During the 1960s, 70s and 80s there used to be a lot of International tournaments held in (former) Yugoslavia. The Sombor event was one of them. The <Ch> abbreviation in the score-sheet above is a mistake.
