Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-12-04  Orcinus: after Kxd1 we have an opening true to the spirit of Ulf. It was he who gave it GM status. Central dynamic tension is much released. No queens and one minor piece exchanged, the king is quite safe on d1 with no black piece developed and one pawn moved. A quiet game ensues, some would say dull. Small advantage transforms to another, the opponent becomes more prone to errors. For example...15 f5 the e4 is weak. 16 Bxb6 and black is left with a bad bishop.
Oct-20-04  seoulmama: Yes, Orcinus, This is a tremendous clash, albeit one sided. Good Knigh vs. bad Bishop; classic.
Feb-19-05  aw1988: Ladies and Gentlemen, the dancing rook.
May-31-14  SpiritedReposte: White's pieces look so happy on all white squares.

Very unafraid of black's bishop, who is looking dismal.

Mating Net: Two modest moves really caught my eye. The first was 12.b4 which prevents Bc5 and is the beginning of the restriction of the Black Bishop. The second was 30.Ra7 foregoing the exchange of the active Rook thereby condemning the Black Rook to passivity after 30...Rc8.
Mar-22-15  morfishine: Great game, period

Straclonoor: Game in same style like Ulf Andersson vs Robatsch, 1979
