GrahamClayton: Baburin gives an excellent example of the d4-d5 pawn break in the QGA.

Rather than playing mechanical developing moves like 0-0, ♖ac1 and ♖fd1, which would allow Black to catch up with ...♘c6, White strikes with 10.d5!, exploiting his lead in development.

Aug-22-12  rookey1986: such a pretty game. nice touch by GM Baburin.

wwall: Nice miniature. White threatens 25.Qg7 mate. If 24...gxf5 (24...Qxh6 25.Nxh6+ and 26.Rxe1), then 25.Qxh1 Rxh1 26.Rxh1 and Black is down a piece.
