tpstar: Interesting opening play for both sides. Maybe White intended 13. Bxe5 but didn't like 13 ... Ng4 14. Bxc7 Rd7 15. Ba5 Rxf2 and White can neither castle nor develop (16. h3 Bh4). Then after 15 ... Nd5 it was too late for 16. Bxe5?! Bb4 (17. Bxc7?? Rc8), so White tried 16. Nge4 Bb4 17. Nc3. 21 ... Bc2+! was an awesome coupe de grace and won a piece due to doubled Rooks on the 7th with an unavoidable discovered check. Tactics over Pawn structure!
Jun-10-18  Steve.Patzer: Please explain the pun.

OrangeTulip: Nice game! Cold-blooded tactis by Bilek, and Planinc is KO.

An Englishman: Good Evening: I think Bilek wrote an opening book called Black Is OK!
Jun-10-18  Steve.Patzer: Now I see that Andras Adorjan wrote the book Black Is OK.
Jun-10-18  siggemannen: Perhaps 10.c3 or 11.c3 was better, but Planinc didn't like passive positions
Jun-10-18  faulty: And the huge irony of the matter is that the surname of Mr. Bilek seems to be of the Slavonic (to be more precise, Czech) origin, and in Czech it happens to mean 'WHITE'. Etymology is cruel :(

White is KO here :(

morfishine: Planinc is one of my favorite players! His style remains the same, skating on thin ice, win or lose
