Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-25-04  get Reti: Even though Bird won, why doesn't he ever capture the queen with his knight?
Jun-25-04  DevastatioN: Hi, I think your refering to moves 47 and 50, the Knight is pinned to the king by the rook :) the knight cannot move or check is unveled to the white king. So knight taking queen is an illegal move.
Jul-21-05  lentil: Bird missed mate in 1 at move 61: Qf7#
Nov-16-07  zealouspawn: lol...
Apr-01-08  Knight13: <24. Ba6> What? Why? That puts the bishop out of the diagonal into a less effective square. 24. Bf3 is by far better, unless I'm missing something.
Apr-02-08  sneaky pete: Maybe it's 24.Bf3 Nxf4 you're missing?
Apr-02-08  Knight13: I guess 24. Qf3 doesn't make things better either. I prefer 22. Qe2, except that ...Ng3 would make me go to the bathroom and wash my face.
