Sep-19-04  Knight13: I misunderstand the resign by White. It's more like draw. I guess I need to study this game to find out.

  tpstar: White's last move 37. Rf4! made a Discovery on the unguarded Re8; 37 ... Rxf4 38. Qxe8+ Kc7 39. Bxf4+ Ne5 40. Bxe5#, otherwise 38. Rxc4 wins.
Sep-20-04  Knight13: <tpstar> Nice! That's really helpful, man! Thanks.
Oct-09-04  Knight13: I think Black resigned because 38... Rxf4 Bxf4 followed by 40. Qc6+ Qxc6 41. dxc6 1-0. Good game.

Chessical: Englisch's resignation is in fact due to the fact that he could not prevent the loss of the Rc4 without being mated; viz:

37.Rf4 <Rxf4> 38.Qxe8+ Kc7 39.Bxf4+ Ne5 40.Bxe5 mate.

Oct-10-04  Kean: I think white got the best position from move 22 because his strong center and he profited from it quite good
