Feb-24-08  Knight13: Schlechter n'est pas monté même un combat!!! Bien, il a été su comme un dessine le maître, très facile à dessiner mais fort battre.
Aug-31-14  Xeroxx: That's easy for you to say.
Sep-01-14  ljfyffe: C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas la guerre.

beatgiant: Looking at the position before White's 47th move, with Black's king boxed into the corner, it's hard to believe White doesn't have a win.

I studied 47. h3 gxh3 48. g4 Rb2 49. gxf5 Rxb3 50. f6 Nf3+ 51. Kf1, which looks strong, but maybe Black defends better with 47. h3 gxh3 48. g4 <Rg7> and I didn't find anything great for White.

Sep-01-14  ljfyffe: Yes, Black paints himself into a corner, but White only draws - at least, as far as I can tell.

  beatgiant: C'est la vie.
Sep-02-14  ljfyffe: Oui, but Schlechter appears not to attempt to outvie his opponent.
