Sep-14-04  Jesuitic Calvinist: A crushing win against a GM. Bisguier never seemed comfortable from the opening on; perhaps this is one of those times where an unusual opening (particularly 2....Nc6) paid off against a stronger opponent.
Oct-29-05  aw1988: White has an artificial plan with a4 and e4, but Nxe4!! is stunning; except, what comes after he accepts?
Feb-01-06  MUG: Presumably if 18.fxe4 Nxe2+ then White must give up his Queen or else face 19.Kg7 Rg6+ 20.Kh8 Qf6 mate.

A great game. Blacks Knights run rampant!

Dec-02-17  Albanius: White has an artificial plan with a4 and e4, but Nxe4!! is stunning; except, what comes after he accepts?

18 fxe4 Nxe2+
19 Kg2 Rg6+
20 Kh1 Qf3#

Aug-09-19  Dionysius1: After which Bisguier asked "What do you feed this guy on - raw meat?"

perfidious: In those bygone days, Bisguier himself very much favoured byways in the opening, especially as Black, before making a transition to more solid systems.
Aug-31-22  MaczynskiPratten: A very entertaining game, I would love to see more analysis. I wasn't convinced by 16 d5. Thought White would continue 16 e5 but I guess Black will play the forced sacrifice Nxe5 and have tremendous pressure. But I thought 16 Be3 might help stabilise things temporarily although h2 is still weak. I completely missed 19 ... Nc3!! and I wonder if Bisguier did too. There were several other less conclusive alternatives.
