Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-12-09  Alan McGowan: This was Kurt Richter's only win against Bogoljubov in sixteen tournament or team games between 1928 and 1942. There were seven draws and Bogoljubov won eight. Their games were always interesting and some were very hard-fought. Two of Richter's losses went to 77 moves, and another loss took over nine hours' play and over 80 moves.
