Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-11-07  Whitehat1963: Black makes a valiant effort to avoid it, but takes a Bonin from the Player of the Day anyway.
Jul-07-07  Granny O Doul: White is undoubtedly Alan Williams from New York City.
Oct-10-08  alwilliams: you have mistakenly attributed my game against Jay Bonin to A,H,Williams.I guess he was the only A.Williams in your database.I do not know who submitted the game (maybe Bill Goichberg who was the TD) but there should be no doubt about it.Anyway it would be nice just for the sake of accuracy to correct this error and enter Al Williams in your database. Thanks
Oct-10-08  Strongest Force: Hello, Alan! We have played many times in tournaments and Washington Square Park. How are you? This is Kenny. :)
Oct-10-08  Strongest Force: Alan, Jay castled right into it and made you look like Tal. :) I know you liked to take long thinks but you should'nt have used more than one hour on the clock in this game.
Oct-14-08  alwilliams: Hi Kenny, I did take a lot of time on 22 RD2!
Oct-20-08  alwilliams: by the way, do these mistakes ever get corrected?

Benzol: <alwilliams: by the way, do these mistakes ever get corrected?>

Yes though sometimes it does take a little time.
Have you reported the error to the admins using the "suggest your correction" function?

Oct-20-08  alwilliams: Hi Benzol, I have"nt tried that yet, You sound like you have some experience in these matters, Thanks.
Jun-08-09  alwilliams: I guess these mistakes never get corrected.I suppose that business about keeping the database squeaky clean is just lip service to placate frustrated members.By the way the irony and insult is that this is listed as one of A,H.Williams notable gamrs!
Jun-08-09  alwilliams: Thanks for making this necessary correction, it's well appreciated.
Nov-10-10  sylviamom: Al, your nieces and nephews think you are # 1 . They play chess also ! When you can call a/o e-mail we would love to hear from you ... Sylvia and Mom
