Jul-16-10  shalgo: 48...d5! is a beautiful pawn sacrifice from Flohr to save the game. Nimzowitsch would have been proud to have a blockading knight like the one Flohr gets on d6.
Feb-15-15  Andrijadj: When you are black and you don't have a clear plan, push the a pawn to a4/a3. Always creates room for some counterplay. For example, Carlsen does that very often (he won a game with black against Anand not so long ago by using that idea). Here Flohr demonstrates the plan against (future) world champion.
