  perfidious: The double-rook ending is a most instructive display by Botvinnik. While his opponent is ahead on material for a time, his pawns are weak and his position passive, and it is only a matter of time before Black turns the advantages of his position to account.
Mar-02-11  seeminor: I don't know if I am missing something here. Why would Botvinnik be playing at an Interzonal, he was World Champion in 1962.

  perfidious: <seeminor> After posting my note above, I sent CG a comment, informing them that the IZ is a misattribution. This happened also in at least one other Botvinnik game in the DB from this minor event.
