  Chessical: Botvinnik coasts through this game, always knowing he could outplay his opponent. He allows himself the enjoyment of experimentation, hence his rather casual attitude to the opening <9...Nxg3?!>.

<18.f4> followed by <e4> would have given White a significant advantage.

<33.Rxd3?> recapturing with the Queen would have kept White in the game.
