Kibitzer's Corner
May-19-09  Brown: A near flawless performance from the flexible chess vault of Bronstein.

Black's novelty 10..Rb8 was never repeated, and perhaps rightly so, since 11.Nd5 puts black under heavy pressure with no counterplay to speak of.

One possible misstep could be playing 15.g3 instead of the immediate 15.Nxb8, as black now has 15..Rb7.

Remarkably, the black Q has very few squares to work with by move 23, so black is forced to play a simplifying combination that leaves him two pawns down for nothing.

Jan-04-11  jmboutiere: 15...Rb7 may be better than 15...Bb7
Until 15th move chances seem equal.
