Gypsy: <14.Nd3!> With threats like 15.Nf4 and such.

<25.Kf2(?)> According to Petrosian, this begins to wander towards a draw. Good plan was 25.g4 followed by Kg2, h4, and g5.

May-18-12  LoveThatJoker: GOTD: Master of Defense

Everyone who is a serious WC Petrosian fan should look at this video!

Feb-14-14  CountryGirl: Thank you, Joker! I checked out the King video and it was just as promised: superb.
Feb-15-14  SChesshevsky: I'm guessing Browne was content with a draw. At least after 22. Qxe3.

Maybe some advantage to 24. Rc1.

Feb-27-14  LoveThatJoker: <CountryGirl> I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Apr-20-14  Mating Net: A clear cut case of less is more. Petrosian ditches the isolani and in return, sets up the blockade. The Knight on d6 denies the light squares and the f6 pawn denies the dark squares.
Apr-20-14  RookFile: Great endgame mastery. You go into an ending, a pawn down, and say you're going to draw. If you're wrong about anything, you lose. Petrosian wasn't.
Oct-28-16  CountryGirl: "Knight on d6, Kills all of White's tricks!"
