whiteshark: For some inexplicable reason Colle missed the winning move <36.R1e6+!>

  whiteshark: <My Face> After the forced sequence <36.R1e6+ Kf5 37.Re5+! Rxe5 38.Rxe5+ Kxe5 39.c8=Q>

white has a material surplus (of ♕♙♙:♖♗) and some nasty threats (40.Qh8+ or 40.Qc5+), too.

Here you just have to take care that you don't get backrank-mated.

May-17-13  Shams: <My Face> 36.R1e6+ Kg5 37.Re5+ forces promotion but the attempt to gain luft with f4+ or h4+ doesn't work due to Black's Rb4. Perhaps <whiteshark> missed the back rank threats.
