Dec-22-07  CambridgeSprings1904: This game was adjourned after 49.Qc4; the game was completed on May 11, 2004.

Reinfeld's tournament book and the original tournament bulletin both give the following additional moves before the game is agreed drawn: 72.Bg2 Bd4+ 73.Kb4 Kd6 74.Kb5 Be3. Despite being 3 pawns down, apparently the opposite colored bishops allow Black to hold.

Dec-22-07  Jim Bartle: That's a heck of an adjournment.
Dec-22-07  CambridgeSprings1904: Probably explains why the moves were left out :)

Naturally, I meant May 11, 1904.

Before that Black missed 49...Qxb6! 50.axb6 Rxc4 51.dxc4 d3! followed by Bxb6.
