Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-19-16  sycophante: Kicking a horse in the mill.
Sep-10-23  YoungEd: 3. Nc3 doesn't superficially might look okay, but by move 5 White has simply lost the tempo advantage that is White's birthright.
Sep-11-23  Granny O Doul: Clearly does not superficially might.
Sep-17-23  YoungEd: <Granny> It's good to see that someone reads my stuff more carefully than I do! :) I think I must have had two thoughts in mind at the same time--neither one any good, apparently!

perfidious: This idea of the creative Spanish grandmaster Bellon looks to be one of his less fortunate innovations, especially by analogy with the line reached via 1.c4 e5 2.Nc3 d6 3.d4 exd4 4.Qxd4 Nc6 5.Qd2 or 1.d4 d6 2.c4 e5 3.Nc3 etc.
