Apr-16-04  caga1971: Why Black Resign?
Apr-16-04  Brian Watson: The knight is attacked twice, but if it moves 17.Qe4 threatens both Rxd8 and Qxh7#.
Apr-16-04  capanegra: At first glance I thought the same, but what if he moves his Knight to c5?
Apr-16-04  Brian Watson: Then 17.b4.
Jul-10-07  jokerman: why not Nb6? blacks down a pawn, but whites king side is taken down... someone wanne explain me what i don't see :D
Jul-10-07  Chicago Chess Man: Joker: you're not reading the entire post. See Brian Watson's post. If Nb6, white plays Qe4, which threatens both black's queen and checkmate on h7. If black plays f5, exf5 en passant still leaves black in trouble.
