GrahamClayton: 15...♕a6! is an excellent move, not only avoiding the exchange of Queens, but threatening the f1-square, which can be seen in the variation 19...♗xg2 20. ♔xg2 ♖g6+ and the White rook is lost.
Jul-22-21  sneaky pete: Common sense and logic tell us that white in this game is not Sandor but Theodor Gruber from Vienna, who also played the other Gruber games in this tournament.

More or less contemporary sources (Kagan's magazine, 1921 issue 4 and Kmoch, Euwe slaagt, 1937) do not give a first name or initial, just "Dr. Gruber", but that must be Theodor.

Ziryab: After 18...Bb7!, Black is better. After 19.Qf4? White is lost.
