Aug-27-07  Karpova: It's called Schlechter's defense, isn't it? (Reinfeld calls the king's side fianchetto and c6-d5 that way)
Aug-27-07  euripides: The exchanges on moves 15-17 look as if they weaken white's pawn structure, but in the long run, if Black cannot prevent c4, it's the other way round. The isolation of Black's c pawn costs the game, not because it falls, but because it is easier to blockade far up the board than White's king's side majority. All very instructive.
