May-22-04  ConLaMismaMano: If 27...gxh6 28.Qxh6+ Kg8 29.Bh7+ Rxh7 30.Qxb6 winning the Queen.
Apr-16-10  alexrawlings: This could make a nice Tuesday puzzle with White to move at move 27.

Leonard Barden writes of this position in his article in today's London Evening Standard: <Attacking chess is mainly based on pattern recognition, that is, spotting similarities to previously known formations. Sometimes, though, it takes an unusual factor to make the pattern work. Here both grandmasters were alert to White's possible Bxh6 followed by Qxh6+ and Qxh7, but Beliasvsky thought he was safe due to his defensive e7 rook guarding h7. Black's queen and rook stop the f6 pawn advance, while his knight prevents the trick Bc3 and Qxh6+. So White's attack looks stymied - but there was one hidden factor which the defender missed. How did White win quickly?>

Aug-31-18  Howard: Is White's 10.Bf4 an improvement over Portish's widely-noted 10.Be3 against Huebner from Montreal 1979 ?
